A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in length overall consisting of a shield blazoned as follows: Buff, on a chevron Gules, between two cannons in saltire Sable, muzzles upward and a wheel of the second bearing a pellet, thirteen mullets, the mullet larger in point Argent. Attached on each side and below the device a Black scroll inscribed "SUSTAINING THUNDER!” in Silver.
